Have you ever worried about the information you are leaving behind when you surf the internet? Well, if you haven't before, you will do once you read CyberScrub Privacy Suite's scary warnings. CyberScrub Privacy Suite is a comprehensive program that makes sure you don't leave a single byte of information behind you.
CyberScrub Privacy Suite has one main function - the Privacy Guard option. It scans your computer for areas that you might be leaving information behind and deletes any it finds. It runs in 2 modes, Basic and Advanced. Basic runs automatically, without asking for any direction, while Advanced gives you multiple scan options.
You can also add individual files to CyberScrub Privacy Suite to be deleted securely. Again, there are different levels of erasing and you can change the configuration options under Erase Options. Hidden at the top of the main CyberScrub Privacy Suite window are a few other options - a recycle bin function, Deleted Email feature and a safe - a secure folder that requires a password to access.
In all, CyberScrub Privacy Suite seems like a comprehensive option - it has an excellent scheduling function and works quickly. Even so, it's not very attractive and doesn't make a good first impression. If you can get over this aesthetic concern, however, you'll see that it is a solid privacy cleaning program that is worth a second look.
